Born and raised in Lexington, I graduated from Tates Creek High School and then Purdue University with a degree in Biology. From a young age, I always considered medicine as a career choice – I simply couldn’t see myself doing anything else. I returned to Lexington to attend medical school at the University of Kentucky. While a medical student, I knew internal medicine was the right fit for me due to its broad reach and depth of knowledge. I completed residency training at the University of Kentucky and have been practicing primary care ever since.

I love the patient-physician relationship and the ability to follow patients through time. I enjoy getting to know patients and their families. I also completed a menopause treatment certification, which has added knowledge to my practice as I treat women in this period of their lives. I enjoy being in a practice that allows me to provide evidence-based primary care with even more flexibility to deepen relationships with my patients and provide the absolute best care possible.

I have two sons, Thomas & Henry and a three legged cat named Millie.
